The Pinellas STR Owners Alliance is being created by and for responsible short-term rental homeowners and hosts.
Our purpose is to build a permanent organization that represents owners, promotes responsible practices, provides useful education, and participates constructively in public-policy decisions.

The alliance is not being formed to address only one rule. We are building a lasting organization capable of addressing current and future issues.
A Message From the Founder
My name is Cindy Huynh, and I am a short-term rental homeowner in Pinellas County.
Like many responsible owners, I have invested significant time, resources, and care into creating a safe and well-maintained property for guests. As I learned more about the regulations affecting short-term rentals, I realized that owners needed a better way to communicate, organize, and participate in decisions affecting our properties.
I started the Pinellas STR Owners Alliance to bring responsible owners together. My purpose is not to speak for everyone myself, but to help establish an organization through which owners can speak collectively.
This alliance is in its beginning stage. Its permanent officers, membership structure, priorities, and policies will be determined through a transparent founding process. Our inaugural meeting is planned for November 2026, when participating owners will begin forming the membership and electing the alliance's initial officers.
My role is to start the conversation, bring owners together, and create the foundation. The future of the alliance will belong to its members.
