Cindy HuynhFounder and Organizing Chair
Cindy Huynh started the Pinellas STR Owners Alliance after recognizing that responsible short-term rental owners needed a stronger way to connect, organize, and participate in decisions affecting their properties.
The alliance is not intended to be controlled by one person. It is being created as a member-led organization in which participating owners will elect officers, establish priorities, approve membership rules, and determine the alliance's future direction.
Cindy's role during this founding stage is to bring owners together, begin the organizational process, and create the foundation for a lasting alliance.

Our first advocacy initiative will focus on the short-term rental ordinance affecting properties in unincorporated Pinellas County.
We support responsible regulation and reasonable protections for guests and neighborhoods. We also believe regulations should be based on reliable evidence, fairly enforced, practical for responsible owners, and developed with meaningful owner participation.
Our purpose is not to eliminate regulation. Our purpose is to help create regulations that protect safety, neighborhoods, property rights, and the long-term future of responsible short-term rentals.
